Beyond cool
Thought of You by Ryan Woodward
Reminds me of the Google header for Martha Graham's birthday they did sometime back. Maybe cos it was the same guy that made it.
I was really obsessed over finding a moving picture of it, even if it was during my Mid Terms. Or was it before, forgot the timeline.
But nonetheless, it was as beautiful and awesome as this video. Went to its Youtube link and found so many interpretations of this vid.
Me? i think it started off as a dream with him and her together with her as the dreamer in a very.. dreamlike sort of form? But she (the dreamer) wakes up and we find out that he, is the dream. And then he slowly fades away leaving her in the agony and anguish of loss again that she must've felt in the first place.
I think. Haha, cos watching it just left me in a very mind-numbing, whoa-how-did-he-do-that state.
I like what some users in Youtube also commented saying;
"I see a man who thinks he has fallen in love with a woman when, in reality, he's in love with the idea of her. He's in love with this perfect, elusive person he has built up in his mind. But, when he finally gets the real thing -- when the girl lets him close enough to really see her, when she lets him in -- he loses interest. When he sees her with all her dimensions, her black outlines and solid shapes... things change. He liked chasing the dream, not her."
i like this the most,
"At first glance of the video, it appears that this man is having thoughts and dreams about this woman that he loved so much and had left. He misses her and longs to be near her again, and feels like he should have never left her in the first place. Life seems so heavy without her, and to even move seems to hold him to the ground.
But no… She has not solidified at all, but was awakening from her own dream of him. Of what she had hoped he had felt for her while they were apart and why he came back to her.
And in that moment as he begins to leave, it is in that moment she truly realizes that it’s over."
Okay random babble. Now, watch it! :)
