So how was bersih?

Even though i wasn't one of the 10-50 thousands that also physically stood for the rally (which is seriously going to be one of my biggest regrets in life ): ), just reading the news was gripping enough for me :) So many views on the the whole rally and how the police did their job.
This is gonna be a short one, seeing as how there's school tomorrow. Which i'm pretty excited for :)

Most amazing thing ever? Seeing a TRUE 1Malaysia occurrence happening. People of different races, religion and cultures coming together to support and stand for one true cause. I do agree with Jek Ann that this stand does not only stand for a fair election, it's the start of change of this country.
And this proves, that change IS possible in Malaysia.

I was deeply moved to be hearing Bersih stories from people from all walks of life. There were chinese tweeters tweeting on how a Malay couple shared salt and water with them so as to protect themselves from the teargases. Chinese, Indians and Malays all held hands walking in the rally. Even hearing of other nations such as Melbourne joining in in the rally at their own cities. Amazing siao.
Also hearing and reading of the crowds singing Negaraku in front of KLCC together!
Having prayers, no matter the race, together, respecting each other's right!
And gosh, the picture with the front liners that stood with linked arms, protecting the other protesters (who are most likely strangers to them)

Now see, THIS is the real 1Malaysia. Seriously not some splashed on advert on taxis and billboards, wasting taxpayers money in the process.

And most exciting/surprising thing ever? My friend, Jofan getting arrested! Oh gosh, you should see the amount of worried friends of his pouring in twitter and facebook! HAHA WE TRENDED #releasejofan :)
We saw him today at YC and gosh was he relaxed about it :D
"HOW WAS IT?"
"Good, good. The food was good! Nasi Kandar and two pieces of chicken which totally worked" haha!
He is seriously one awesome man of God and i betul betul respect him for his passion and integrity :)
What a story he would be able to tell to his grandkids mann. And for all of us, we can say "I HAVE A FRIEND WHO WAS ARRESTED BEFORE!"

Ahaha, saying it loud and proud kay ;) And that's because it was for a good cause, a truthful and right stand. I don't know what the political leaders involved in the rally or not involved in the rally have to say or what they have planned in their personal agendas. What i do know is that 50k Malaysians stood up on the 9th of July. 50k Malaysians want what's right FOR the COUNTRY. 50k Malaysians can't be wrong and we shouldn't let their spirit and passion be wasted like that.

I just really hope that this would not just disintegrate into our normal toils and turmoils of life after yesterday. I hope that in every Malaysian's hearts, there would always be a space, a memory for the 9th of July. Not only for the stand for truth, but also for the fact that this generation has finally seen a true unity among Malaysians.
Because Malaysia should ALREADY mean 1Malaysia :)
